Venue

The ‘NLP – by the sea’ conference is being held at Bournemouth University.

Bournemouth enjoys a good reputation in the conference world, not just amongst its wide client base but also with delegates, exhibitors and visitors alike.

At Bournemouth University the atmospheric sense of adventure that is created by the art gardens and open spaces invites informal discussions and experimentation.

Inside the conference rooms are light, airy and comfortable. With state of the art AV capability presentations are made as easy as your conference experience.

Imagine that you are enjoying immersing yourself in exploring new ways of applying NLP. Then, at the end of the day rather than everyone leaving to their respective hotels they stay, so that the atmosphere of creativity and exploration can continue. With the accommodation only two minutes walk from the conference you can really get to know the other delegates.

Continually sharing experiences and having fun in that midsummer’s warmth may mean you even begin to get a sense of excitement like in the early days of NLP where everything was open to question and incredible discoveries were just around the corner.

Bike:
The local topography and sea air make the area quite cyclist-friendly and both Talbot and Lansdowne campuses are easily accessible by bicycle.
There are a number of cycle routes around the conurbation which are designed to direct cyclists on roads where the traffic is less heavy. Bournemouth Borough Council has an online map illustrating general local cycle routes and there are also maps available as handouts showing these and the Bourne Valley Greenway.
Poole Borough Council also provides a host of information, including a map on their website.

Once you have arrived at the University, you can secure your bike at one of the many bike racks situated around the both campuses.
Please do not lock your bikes up to fences or railings. This can restrict walkways and access points, hampering movement in the event of an emergency and hindering people with mobility problems. Apart from looking untidy, your bike is safer secured in a appropriate location as there is increased surveillance of the bike rack areas.
